15095. Grace Ann AUSTIN

BIOGRAPHY: Grace A. Austin  BIOGRAPHY:      Grace A. Austin, daughter of Arie l T. and Sarah Austin died, aged 20 years, 3 months and 24 days, on Monday the  23rd. Thus, in brief, is told a story of a life of much promise, fading our ea rly under the influence of that fell disease, Consumption. More than a year ag o, it was evident the death had marked Grace as his victim, but the decline was so gentle that it was hoped the result might be arrested.  Vain were the hopes -- the work of dissolution went steadily on, till she yielded to the mandate,  and was laid tenderly in her last resting place. Grace was an excellent young  woman, a loving child, a diligent schloar, and possissing all those traits of c haracter and dispostion that endeared her to all who knew her.  During her long illness, she was cheerful, hopeful, patient, and when her crisis came, faith l it up her soul, with the hope of a happy meeting.  She bade them all goodbye, s aying she would soon be with Mercy and they'd all come soon.  The the death sce ne was hallowed by the light of living faith. The funeral services were conduc ted by Rev. A. W. Chamberlain.
