MARY STAUDER, 82, DIED, FINAL RITES SATURDAY

"Mrs. Mary E. Stauder, 82, died at 11:15 a.m. at the residence of her daughter, Mrs.Cardula Juen, 400 S. 1st Street, where she made her home, death was due to infirmities of age.

"She was born at Oswega, N.Y. Aug 13, 1863 a daughter of Alonzo and Mary E. (Keher) Minor. Mrs. Stauder came to Belleville as a young girl. Her father was Chief of Police
here.

"She married Julius J. Stauder, May 7, 1889 at St. Peter's Church. He died May 20,1917.

"Six sons and two daughters survive: Fred A., 604 S. Church Street; Adele wife of Joseph Schlich, 933 N. 1st. Street; Alonzo (Lon) Stauder, 610 Sycamore Street; Cordula
widow of John L. Juen, 400 S. 1st. Street; Raymond, Smithton; Cyril J., 325 N. Church Street; Arthur T., 1204 S. State Street and Joseph W. Stauder, 502 N. Church Street who is a printer at the Advocate. Another child died in infancy.

"She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, two brothers: Joseph Minor, 709 St. Clair Ave. and Arthur Minor, 106 S. Douglas Ave; two sisters: Mrs. Louis Koesterer, 401 S. Illinois Street; Mrs. Emma Schewe, St. Louis.

"A grandson Robert Juen was killed in action in World War II.

"Mrs. Stauder was a member of the Perpetual Help Society, third Order and Rosary Confraternity of St. Peter's Cathedral.

"The body is at the Renner-Geminn Funeral Home where friends may call at 6:00 o'clock Thursday evening.

"The funeral will be held from the funeral home Saturday Morning with services at 10:00 o'clock Saturday Morning, services at 10:15 at St. Peter's Cathedral. Interment in
Green Mount Cemetery, the six sons will be pallbearers."
